The Biophysics and Biochemistry Stockroom is proud to announce a new platform for buying supplies, called Lightspeed. Lightspeed is an online and in store Point of Sale (POS) system to help make your shopping easier. With Lightspeed, you can use your P-card or payment card to purchase stockroom supplies for your lab or classroom. The new POS system will launch March 1, 2023!  

The BCBP Stockroom will be transitioning from POs and moving towards using P-cards for your purchases. Our hope is to streamline your purchasing process and to make finding supplies easier. The BCBP Stockroom supports research and teaching labs at Texas A&M University and AgriLife by offering lab supplies and equipment, dry ice, liquid nitrogen, chemicals, office supplies and more at a discounted price.  

The BCBP Stockroom will continue to provide Special Orders (SO) through the new Lightspeed system, please let us know if we can help you order items we don’t normally keep in stock. If you’re needing to order IDTs or Sigma Oligos, the online ordering process with each vendor will not change, however the payment will be completed through Lightspeed.
