Dr. Megan Reynolds receives AFS College Level Teaching Award
We are proud to highlight Dr. Megan Reynolds for having received the AFS College Level Teaching award. The Association of Former Students grants this award to faculty members who showcase exemplary skills in teaching and have cultivated an environment for students to excel. Dr. Reynolds was given the reward in a surprise fashion right before the start of her class in front of her students.
Dr. Megan Reynolds is a tried and true Aggie having earned her bachelor’s degree in genetics at Texas A&M in 1999 while also having been a member of the fightin’ Texas Aggie band and Corps of Cadets member. Dr. Reynolds went on to remain at Texas A&M and earn her Ph.D. in genetics in 2010. Soon after she became a full-time lecturer and now holds the title of senior lecturer for her genetics courses.
We are very happy to see Dr. Reynolds be recognized for her achievement and the ways in which she contributes to the success of students. Congratulations to her, we anticipate nothing but continued success from both her and her students.
