Howdy. I’m  Dr. Miok Lee and I earned my Ph.D. in biological science at Seoul National University, Korea with a specialization on elucidating molecular mechanisms of environmental stress in plants. My research interests spontaneously expanded to understand genomic variations of host innate immunity in various species including chicken, cattle, and bison.

I’ve been mentoring undergraduates research for years and I teach GENE301 and GENE312/314. I am so grateful that I can help my students to expand their biological horizon and make biology relevant to them.
