The Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics recognizes and celebrates the outstanding career and dedicated service of Terry L. Lovingshimer, whose contributions to Texas A&M University and Texas A&M AgriLife Research have had a lasting impact on our faculty, staff, students, and research programs with the establishment of the Terry L. Lovingshimer Award for Extraordinary Service and naming him as the first recipient of the award.  The presentation occurred at the Hildebrand Equine Complex during the 2026 Graduate Student Research Symposium on Friday, August 21, 2026.  This award was established with contributions from Dr. Cecilia Tommos and Dr. Josh Wand.
