Caden Summers, a second-year Biochemistry PhD student, represented our department at the 2025 Annual Society for Glycobiology Meeting in San Diego, held November 9–12. This premier international gathering in glycoscience attracts leading researchers from across the globe. Caden earned an SFG Travel Award to support his participation and was selected to deliver a short research talk—an honor reserved for exceptional early-career scientists. He also showcased his work during the conference poster session. We are incredibly proud of his achievements and growing impact in the field.
